Confessions of a Gay Rugby Player (#1) by Patrick Darcy (3.5 Stars)

Pure erotica, the story focuses on the sexual escapades that take place in one evening after a major competition. Lots of sexual interactions with multiple people, but don’t look for the condoms. There are none to be found in this story. Down and dirty, it’s not painted pretty or romantic.

Different Strokes by Nico Jaye (4 Stars)

A very sweet story with one stoic, competitive swimmer, and one adorable masseuse. A quick and easy read, I really liked watching these two become friends and then lovers. It just needed more dialogue between the two guys showing why they were falling for each other.

Book Blurb!

Behind the Curtain by Amy Lane (4 Stars)

A sweet romance with two guys trying to decide if they are good enough for each other. Told from Dawson’s POV, his addictive voice and generous nature made me love him. I didn’t feel like I got to know Jared very well, but more importantly, I struggled to understand why these two would fall in love. I just wanted more time with them actually talking to each other as opposed to being told that they had enjoyable conversations. However, I still enjoyed reading it until the last 15%. At that point, some of the things happening to Jared were too unbelievable and brought me out of the story.

Boats in the Night by Josephine Myles (4.5 Stars)

Enjoyable, sweet romance with two people who seemed so different at first, but really had similar core values. I liked the time they spent getting to know one another and loved their conversations. There were little twists in the story, with some making the story interesting, and some making it slightly unbelievable. An easy read that made me smile.
