Brilliant action packed story with several interesting characters and a nice sci-fi aspect. Presented with the POV of several of the characters gave it an emotional punch and depth that I wasn’t expecting. Although not a typical romance, the love was obviously soul deep and that satisfied my needs. With sci-fi, military, and mob characters all joining the story, it could have been exhausting to read. Instead, the author did an amazing job pulling it all together and writing a book that I couldn’t put down.

Where You Lead by Mary Calmes (5 Stars)
Charming romance about love and compromise. Enjoyed the characters and the simplicity of the story. What would you give up to be with your soul mate? Pete explores the many reasons behind his decision, and it becomes clear that Carver would do the same for Pete.
Miracle of the Bellskis (Bellskis #2) by Astrid Amara (4.5 Stars)
Several years into their relationship, Seth is now an attorney but getting his feet wet at another firm. This allows for an interesting focus on their careers and a divorce case. The rest revolved around dealing with families. The heart of the story, though, was watching Seth and Lars continue to strengthen their connection. You definitely need to read this series in order.
Carol of the Bellskis (Bellskis #1) by Astrid Amara (4 Stars)
Sweet make-up romance after Seth finally leaves Lars for refusing to acknowledge their relationship. The two work through their issues while also taking care of a B&B on their vacation. The incidents at the B&B became a bit much, but it kept giving the guys additional reasons to reconsider their relationship. I also thought getting Lars’ POV would have given the story a stronger emotional pull. Overall, a very enjoyable read.
