A Ghost of a Chance by Josh Lanyon (5 Stars)

Rhys tells us the story, and I really enjoyed his voice. There is a an interesting mystery, which kept me glued to the pages, along with an almost cryptic romance. Sexy and mysterious, I liked Sam and was hopeful that he and Rhys could make it work.

Stuff (The Bristol Collection #2) by Josephine Myles (5 Stars)

I absolutely adored this story. Mas was an extremely charming character, and his flaws made him even more lovable. Perry was so serious most of the time until Mas taught him how to enjoy life a bit more. Neither Mas nor Perry had been in a serious relationship before which made watching them suffer through the learning curve both realistic and interesting. I also thought it was fun watching them put the clothing and art store together. It’s not necessary to read Junk first but I highly recommend it. Jasper and Lewis do show up here quite frequently which was a treat for me.

Cruel to be Kind (Love’s Landscapes) by Kim Dare (5 Stars)

The story had a dark and dangerous vibe to it. Malone is a vampire, and these vampires don’t treat humans very well. However, Malone’s human friend and business partner, Xander, wants Malone as more than just a friend. You could tell from the dialogue that Malone had been taking care of Xander for years. These two were perfect for each other. The ending was pure brilliance!
