Solitude by Anna Martin and Tia Fielding (5 Stars)

Captivating writing kept me quickly turning the pages in this sweet and sexy story. The beginning of the story is a mixture of timelines with Liam providing his POV today and Gael sharing what was happening in the past. It made for an interesting way to watch the progression of their relationship. Since they are both porn stars, and Liam is a rent boy, there is quite a bit of hot, steamy sex in this story. They also have sex with other characters on the set and outside of it. I enjoyed the glimpses into their jobs, but I was glad the story was mostly focused on their growing romance. Liam’s insecurities make it hard for him to believe Gael will stick around for the long run, but Gael knows he and Liam work perfectly together. The other characters in the story really added to the plot and made everything that much more emotional. The writing style of these two authors together was flawless, and I hope they turn this story into the beginning of a series. Several other characters definitely had a story to tell.

BLURB

When his whirlwind life in LA became too much, Liam Barton escaped to Solitude, a Utah ski resort. Not only did Liam leave his career as a gay porn star, he said good-bye to Gael Torres, his costar at Woodspring Manor Entertainment.

Rumors run rampant that Liam is dead. But Gael doesn’t believe the gossip. Knowing something is wrong with Liam, Gael hunts him down to get his answers.

Liam is shocked when Gael turns up in Solitude and takes up residence. To Liam’s chagrin, Gael is determined to stick around to help Liam through whatever spooked him enough to run away. As Gael breaks through Liam’s armor, both men begin to realize that no matter what life throws their way, they don’t have to deal with it alone.
