Worth a Shot (FIT Guys #2) by Kim Dare (5 Stars)

I adored this sweet and sexy romance with heavy character development. Tony and Donovan finally connect after admiring each other from afar. Donovan was struggling to move forward after leaving a somewhat mentally abusive and sexually pathetic boyfriend. Tony, who was protective without being controlling, was committed to helping Don replace those bad memories. There were plenty of extremely steamy scenes with lovely dialogue to help make the emotional connection. There was a bit of angst, since neither of these guys shared that they wanted to take the relationship further. This is the second book in the series, and I loved it as much as the first, Worth Waiting For.

Gambling Men: The Novel by Amy Lane (5 Stars)

I absolutely loved this story!!!  It was a beautiful, extremely steamy, best friends-to-lovers story.  Since it starts when they first get together as lovers, the entire book is about them working through this new side of their relationship.  They have their hardships to deal with, but they come through everything together. Quent is the easy-going sweetheart that everybody likes, and Jace is the hardhead that needs Quent to keep him grounded.  I enjoyed watching each of them finding different ways to prove to each other that they would love each other forever.

A Marked Man (Assassin/Shifter #1) by Sandrine Gasq-Dion (4.5 Stars)

I loved Mateo, a smoking hot hitman who is trying to save the world by eliminating one bad guy at a time. After saving Riley’s life, they go into hiding together while the rest of Mateo’s team try to find the culprits. I adored the little dates they went on and had fun watching them get to know each other better while they fell in love. The plot is a tad over the top, but it worked well enough. I’m looking forward to the next one!

Book Blurb!

Hard and Fast by Jack Greene (4.5 Stars)

Title says it all. Two hitmen, rough sex, nasty talk, and a sweet ending. Nic cheated, but it played perfectly into the plot, and there was the possibility that he truly didn’t believe he and Paul were exclusive. Plus, after Nic actually risks his life to save Paul, it’s pretty easy to see them move forward.
